i need to sleep, gotta wake up early tomorrow....but before i go nitey-nite, just wanted to leave my readers (all 2 of you!) this little tidbit. don't know where i got it from though. probably some blog. i was going through my files on my computer and found it... so here it is...

Not that I am comparing my life or yours with the record of redemptive history found in the Bible, but I think there is a sense in which we can also look back on the stages of our journey with God. We, too, have places where we grumbled and complained, and places where we clearly saw God's miraculous provision in spite of it. If you are discouraged today because you are more aware of your failures than you are of God's work in your life, I'd like to suggest that you retrace your journey to this point. Instead of detailing your low moments, create a tribute to the places where God cared for you. Be specific and I bet you will find that in the recounting, you will notice and appreciate details of God's care that you previously had overlooked.
