the musical "wicked"

i had such a nice 4 days off from work. it was nice~~~~ *sigh of contentment* but off to work for 1 more week and then to vacation. hehe.

i saw wicked this past week, and i have to say that i really liked it. i wasn't sure what to expect because i got a lot of different responses about it. some loved it and some not so much. and maybe it was because of my low expectations that i ended up liking it, but nonetheless, i liked it a lot!

some of my favorite lines:

oftentimes, i say to myself, 'connie, you know, you really do have such an awesome group of friends. friends who love God, desire to serve Him so passionately, and trust in Him no matter how difficult the circumstances may be.' i really do think this. and it amazes me and blesses me and encourages me to follow more fervently after God myself. my friends who are always there for me whenever and wherever, whom i can always go to for advice, for laughter, for comfort... i truly am SOOOO blessed!
